Programs and Activities We Offer

Dual Immersion

Our program is a 90/10 model, meaning that the children are learning in the target language (Spanish) for 90% of the day, with 10% instruction in English in the first year. (Learn why this is important.)
Each additional grade level will adjust by 10% and the program has been developed to continue on through middle school. In fact, one of the great advantages to our program is that the children will learn together for nine years on the same campus, transitioning only for high school.

Our Sensational Choir performs in district wide and school activities throughout the year. Stephanie Scoggins has been Parent Schools Choir Director for over 20 years. Her hard work and dedication is the reason we can call our Choir Members “Sensational”.  Some of their annual includes performances at the City of Inglewood Annual Holiday Program, Parent Schools Holiday Program, Black History Program, Spring Concert, 8th Grade Graduation, & Ladera Community Events.

Join the PTA! Our Phenomenal PTA has provided a Parent Resource Center on our campus! Meetings are held at 6:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month. For more information, please call the main office at 310-680-5430.

Student of the Month

Student of the Month Assemblies are held each month for grades 1st – 8th grade.

Students are recognized for with certificates for Citizenship, Most Improved, and overall Student of the Month.

The after school Education and safety program is a balance of academic assistance through tutoring and homework help and enrichment activities.   The ASES program is funded through a state grant and is free of charge to any student attending an Inglewood school with the program.  (Based on space availability)

Transitional Kinder

Transitional Kinder is a bridge between preschool and kindergarten for children turning 5 years old between September 2nd and December 2nd.  It gives young learners a head start and provides them with an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social needs.
